There should be an option to prevent someone from logging work on an issue not assigned to the active sprint.

There should be an (optional) feature to automatically move an issue into the Sprint when someone attempts to log work on it.

The latter solution would be very useful for Support or Operations teams. In fact, it would remove 90% of the work that team members spend on tracking their issues.

Yes, this absolutely takes the sprint from a pure planning into a reactive mode, but it properly handles how support and operations teams use it.
