We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.
Hello team,
We have a feature request for adding the "Assignee" column for the issues shown on Sprint Report, on the new Boards. Is that a possibility to add it? It would be awesome if the users could be able to customize the columns to be shown, similar with the dashboard gadgets or the issue navigator.
Thanks,
Arthur Gonçalves
Just want to add some more examples regarding to the columns:
- A column with the "UserName" of the user that caused the event.
- "Summary" column shows issue summary
- duplicates

[JSWSERVER-5976] Add column for "Assignee" on Sprint Report Burndown Chart
Hello. I wanted to add my interest as having this capability (to filter by assignee - but I would say for all reports including velocity) because it's clear that there is a need for our current planning and I can't get a good capacity plan together without drilling down to assignee level. Hopefully the status can soon be moved to In progress. Thanks.
I agree, maybe to add any field like column will be excellent
Hi,
+1 yes to custom columns. JIRA-ID is a reference, but Summary gives meaning.
Thanks
Hi,
+1 for allowing custom columns to be added in the burndown chart. It would be very handy.
Thanks
Hi,
+1 for allowing custom columns to be added in the burndown chart.
Regards,
Igor.
Hi,
+1 for enabling user to select columns to display.
Due to different resolution types it is confusing to differentiate what is actually done and what is not - speaking about stories done outside of the sprint.
Regards,
Robert
I am most interested in being able to select which columns show. The Summary field is what I am interested in adding but others want different things. So being able to configure would be ideal.
Hi Jira Team @sclowes,
It has been about 6 years since original request and many people vote for this request. Any updates on this?
100+ votes on this, seems like it should be simple enough to implement, and it really makes a lot of sense, Jira reporting is really under-developed, maybe this is to punt us to look at purchasing add-ons... but I can't get stakeholders to buy into even using Jira - if I cannot show them reports that they want to see, let alone get the capital to add extensions...... Jira is losing some business by not having more, and more customizable reporting built-in. Currently running a 50 seat server that just my department uses, when it could be 1000 that the whole company uses, if not for the lack of quick, printable, and customizable reports.
Hi team,
This would be really great if we can customise the sprint report. Accordingly we can manipulate the data what we require and look into the report as per user base.
I just opened a ticket with Atlassian support (GHS-94271) but this might answer my question.
Any update on when this might be addressed?
It would be GREAT to be able to add columns to reports.
Hey, JIRA team, any feedback on this one? I would also love to add components or labels fields, but allowing to add various columns would be way more flexible.
Adding the assignee column or being able to decide on your own columns would be a great help. Im trying to see how much time my developers actually are in the office working each week so i can better plan our sprints.
It is very difficult to understand the issue just by checking the key. So it would be really helpful if Summary field is added.
I would prefer to see components - can we instead make the feature a customizable interface like the issues query page? Perhaps only built-in fields?.
I was always wondering why the report issues have no assignee and epic displayed. We always need to check who worked on what.
Assignee should almost be a required field on the Sprint report – seriously, how much effort would it take to add such an important field to such an important report?
Yes, please! Would love to see this capability... or, at least, give me the ability to Configure that view to add Columns of my choosing.
Hi Atlassian Team!
this ticket was entered 3 years ago. There is reasonable feedback that an improvement for this will help us users to be more agile.
May I ask about your planning to implement this?
Seriously, assignee would help out a lot during sprint review meetings.
The Sprint Report is useful to share with teams only if it provides a little bit more context of who was assigned to what. Assignee makes things transparent and allows for a discussion among the team. This would be very useful, so hope Atlassian adds this quickly.
Everything has been said in the old comments, It will be great to have the ability to customize fields available in the sprint report like user assign to the task, resolution status, components..
Is there any plan to improve this feature in the next version?
As product owner I see that the sprint report is useful for some actions like the sprint review.
Unfortunately it indicates only that a ticket is closed but not why. As consequence it is not visible whether the ticket is implemented, e.g. has resolution "Resolved", or is not implemented, e.g. has resolution "Won't Fix", "Cannot Reproduce" ...
The resolution is crucial to get things really done, so unless having this column added I need manually look up it using an extra query.
It is not suitable to generally using an extra query as this lack some of the information and cause extra effort.
Also the column "Epic Link" is essential. We have multiple epics requiring attention. To use the sprint report in the sprint reviews and coordinate the follow up actions, I currently need to get the information using queries and manually put it together on an extra document. This is a clear waste of time.
I would love to see quick filters by assignee, by issue type etc. coz we have cross functional team members as part of one product team and I wish to see the Dev / QA / Doc velocity per Sprint or over a period of time. Since these members belong to same team and working on same set of epics (features), I think filter is the easy solution to this problem. Viewing in the issue navigator means I have to do manual calculation of story points on the filtered data, will not be able to see graphical representation and many other shortcomings.
Yes but it would be nice if this info could be made available on the report. the report pages are great except that we dont have all the fields we want.
isn't you can pull out that very same report by clicking on "View in Issue Navigator" and configure column accordingly ?
I agree. Configurable columns on all of the reports under Agile would give us what we need.
Created 2012 come-on guys another +1 here. I want to add sigma progress to the burn-down report.
I would like it if the Sprint Report would show the Epic tags that are visible in the Work and Planning Boards. Would be nice to add/remove columns to most of the reports in JIRA Agile.
It would be great to have this! Our company would benefit greatly from it. Voted!
I need this as well. We have a massive sprint with many issues and it would be nice to be able to glance at the Sprint Report and know which tasks belong to which engineer without having to look at the individual tickets.
I too am (or maybe now more 'was') looking for a way to add a column on the sprint report. In my case it was labels, not assignee however.
I suspect from the style of questions from Atlassian folks (GHS-6702), that is a non-trivial request.
It has been raised by my project managers and I can see why it's useful.
Can Atlassian avoid the deflecting style questions and move this to a - no it can't be done, it's too complex, or yes it can be done, but it's way down the backlog?
Even I am trying to add some columns to the table below the burndown chart, Is this feature available?
Kindly let me know the availability, it is urjent.
Much Thanks in Advance
Even better, as with the Issue Detail View, have the columns be configurable by the board owner.
+1
