The error is still there, I think it's a bug. What I did:
1. Add a column in the rapid board
2. Associate the column with a issue state
3. delete the issue state which I earlier associated with the column

I guess, the "configure rapid board view" tries to resolve all associated issue states and doesn't handle deleted states.
