The dates in the Chart Board of rendered inappropriately, to the point it becomes unreadable.

Back in GH 5.6, the dates are well rendered and easily readable.

In the current release of GH, the font size becomes larger and thus overlaps each other.

[JSWSERVER-3531] Dates Rendered Inappropriately in Chart Board

Any Idea when this will be fixed?

Why is this considered a duplicate of GHS-2895? This is a specific bug and GHS-2895 appears to be a Story which covers a different topic.

This issue started to happen after we upgraded to Jira 4.4 but kept Greenhopper at 5.4. The issue still remains after upgrading to Greenhopper 5.7.1. The fonts do appear to be bigger causing the overlapping behavior.

Latest update: the dates in the Agile Gadget is also affected when you select Hours tab view.

Here are more testing that I've found:

            • if the gap between start and end dates are one-month apart, the dates on the chart are barely readable.
            • if the gap between start and end dates are two-months apart, the dates are rendered slightly better.

Raising to critical as we said we fixed it and that looks not to be the case.

Reopening as folks are still hitting this issue, and raising to critical as it is bloody embarrassing.

Sorry about this folks, we'll look into it tomorrow.
