Assignee View may run into Javascript Deadloop when username includes '@'

When JIRA username includes '@', in the specific scenario, such as getting many characters before '@' - jiratestingaccount@atlassian.com, selecting that account in Assignee View may trigger Javascript deadloop in gsub() function. The problem can be reproduced in both IE and FireFox.
