It is really annoying how the last viewed board screen is stored in the session. (Maybe you could store it in HTML5's localStorage)
The various board views like chart board should have permalinks so that I don't have to setup my view every time.

In addition to hampering communication between team members, we are experiencing that the inability to share a specific view is even more of a blocker for our ability to share project status with external stakeholders who may not be saavy JIRA users and don't understand the UI and the different viewing options available. Hoping this gets prioritized into an upcoming sprint soon!

In JIRA a permalink exists on each page. This can be emailed to anyone in the project team to provide a link to enable them to view exactly the same list and ordering of that list as one has on ones screen. This facilitates great communication.
However in Greenhopper's Agile view there is no permalink option. This means that one has to email the steps to view a particular board, such as the planning or task boards, in a particular state. Needless to say this is time consuming, error prone, and hence hampers communication between team members.
