This is the most frequent complaint that I hear about Advanced Roadmaps as use of it expands in our org. It adds several extra clicks to the workflow, and I have no good response for them as they can see in the doc that the feature is available in Cloud.

Hi, please add this feature! We use Jira Advanced Roadmap for planning and overview, and we have to jump to another window all the time to changte the status to Done etc. The flow would be MUCH smoother having possibility to change Status directly in the dropdown, but it is read-only field now.   

Please add this feature for Data Center. Thanks.

@Drew Zhu This feature was recently released to Jira Cloud, would you be able to assign this Jira server ticket to the right Atlassian owner? There's lots of interest on the Jira server side, and we'd love to know when this feature can also be implemented there, would you be able to share a rough timeline please?

Can we have an update on the feasibility of this request moving forward? We have stakeholders complaining about this lack of functionality. 3 years open and still gathering interest does not provide much confidence.

Just started using Jira, on day 1 upgraded to get Advanced Roadmaps, and in the first minutes of using a plan, furiously double clicking the status of an issue thinking I should be able to change it.., please add this, its basic.

Definitely would want this feature. It is a pain to open up new window to change the status.

Our users are asking to be able to edit status from their plans which they use for planning and check-ins with leaders. There's friction without this feature, especially for those who are not experienced Jira users (e.g. managers).

This should exist, Please Atlassian up-prio this. We're running a very high load on our plans and is our outmost needed feature right now - Please prio and please contact me if you want to know how large scale we are on! Its REALLY needed.

I understand complexity - its transitioning an issue rather than editing it but it would be so useful to have - especially when reviewing with project teams and management - update on the go

This would definitely make my life easier.

I continually try to get Project Management to convert to Jira. When I show opening a new tab to change a status I see the eye rolls from the room. Gaps such as this are why I get responses like "thanks, we'll stick with MS Project."

Gathering interest for 2 years now... What do we have to do to see this suggestion added to the roadmap ?

There is a HIGH added value here for any product owner.
