When hovering over the menu items in the right-click context menu for an issue in a sprint or backlog the "gray" background does not follow the cursor when scrolling across the menu items

      Issue Summary

Using the right-click context menu ( contextual menu) for issues assigned to a sprint or the backlog the "gray background" does not update as you scroll across the menu items. Instead the gray background will appear on the first few menu items when scrolling but freezes quickly.

This is reproducible on Data Center: yes

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Navigate to Boards > Select a board for a project
      2. Right-click on an issue in a sprint or the backlog and scroll over the menu options

      Expected Results

The gray background should follow the cursor as you scroll over the menu items

      Actual Results

The gray background appears initially when scrolling over the menu items but freezes after a second or so and does not follow the mouse pointer any longer.

      Additional findings

      • This behavior was not seen in Jira versions prior to 9.2.0
      • Same results if using Firefox or Chrome
      • Same results when using incognito window

      Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
