As a GH user, I would like to see value across all leaf versions instead of root child versions

I have found it strange that GH shows only the first level child versions for the Project Overview charts. In particular I use the Value chart by Children frequently but what I want to see is all the descendants that have no children (i.e. leaf versions). These versions correspond to the time-boxed sprints. Where as the parents and grand parents correspond to milestones and releases.

For a good example look at the GH JIRA Release Chart for Project Overview (Value by Children). There is one child 4.0. Not too helpful. I would rather see the velocity/value chart for all the sprints that went into the 4.0 release and others. The core of the issue is that releases and milestones usually have variable lengths while sprints are time-boxed. Showing velocity over time sprint by sprint is what agile/scrum is all about.

I'm most concerned with the release charts but the same could be said for the chart board in some respects.
