Summary
On KanPlan, transitioning more than one issues to Column with multiple Statuses do not prompt user to choose the Status. This happen when one of the Status in the Column has a Transition screen.
Environment
- JIRA 7.4 EAP01
- KanPlan - Kanban with Backlog enabled
Steps to Reproduce
- Setup KanPlan
- Configure the second Column to have two Statuses
- Set the first "Status 1" without Transition screen
- Set the second "Status 2" with Transition screen
- In Backlog, transition two issues to the second Column
- KanPlan automatically chooses "Status 1" without any acknowledgment to the user.
Suggested Solution
UI to prompt the user to choose which Status to transition to and share warning when "Status 2" is chosen.
Why this is important
Informing the user that the status it transition to may not be the transition user expected it to go to.
