As a user, I would like to increase the length of fix version field on Rapid boards

      Problem Definition

      At the moment the version length on the JIRA Software boards is 25 characters. We would like to have have versions for longer length. From Administration>>Project>>Versions screen, it is possible to add versions upto 255 characters.

      Suggested Solution

      Allow versions upto 255 characters to be created from Boards as well.

      Workaround

      Create versions from Administration>>Project>>Versions screen.
