We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

[JSWSERVER-12365] As a user, I should be able to change the color of labels for better visibility.
Hi, can you please add this feature. It will really be helpful. Labels are currently almost unmanageable.
66e59a1edce9 Wrong address, I don't work for Atlassian. I just dropped them a hint, but the two tickets remain unlinked, so I guess no one noticed.
@piotr - Voting was open for this issue. You have closed it without seeing that this issue had 276 votes and 19551 has only 136 votes.
Why was it done? As already duplicate issues were tagged to this story. On what basis this decision was made???
19551 is copied from this story as this was raised in 2015. This is an utter disappointment from you Piotr. This is pure lack of judgement on your part. It is highly unacceptable that a member from such organisation can't even check the basic things.
Ah, there's a duplicate with open voting: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWSERVER-19551
No one have linked these two as duplicates, the community caught it: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Label-Colors-in-Issue/qaq-p/916840
A user asked about it today (may have seen it in Trello). Could this perhaps be transitioned to a different status in order to unlock voting?

Jira: "We provide overly complicated customization options for every minor detail you could think of! Except colors for labels. We couldn't possibly do that. Nobody wants it anyways."
I assumed this as a given, only to find out you are not even planning to implement... please reconsider.
Makes no sense not to do this!! It's so basic and obvious to everyone that it barely warrants a mention - it should be a given....even it's little brother Trello can do it. Who makes these decisions...?
