[JSWSERVER-12348] JIRA Agile Kanban board shows a "Unresponsive script" warning in Firefox

            Hi Andrew,

The issue is resolved as the fix has been made, which is included in 7.2.0 and Cloud versions.
The patched versions no longer show the problem on the mentioned hardware configurations.

In a case you still experience the issue post 7.2.0 or in Cloud, can you please provide the approximate number of the issue on the browser you are running?

            Thanks.

            Cheers,
            Ignat

Why is the status "Resolved" ? Where is the resolution?

            Thanks,

            Andrew

The default subfilter for Kanban boards uses the unreleasedVersions JQL which is very slow in larger JIRA instances. I always have to add the project keys as arguments to that function to get it to work

We are seeing similar issues with firefox and IE with jira 7.0.10 coming from a previous Jira 6 version. The issue affects our scrum boards in the same way.

This is still definitely happening on any Kanban boards. Even trying to limit using jira-config.properties with jira.search.views.default.max = 200 it still seems to lock up (unless it is not working for some reason). It really looks like it needs a delay render loop for adding all the issues to the board vs just doing it without a chance for the browser to actually do some rendering. I also have limits set on all the columns set to 25...

Firefox 43. Still locks up whenever trying to view a Kanban board. Really tired of having to click "Stop script".

ohernandez@atlassian.com we should verify whether this issue is only occurring recently, or if it occurs even on older versions of JIRA Agile. That will inform if it is warranty or not?
