Original summary: Dots in Kanban cards considering weekends even when they are not selected on ‘Working Days’
It would be interesting to have the dots in Kanban boards reflecting the configuration set on ‘Working Days’ settings.
Currently, even if users uncheck Saturday and Sunday on their boards, the amount of dots displayed on the cards disregards this setting and the total days in a column will consider a 7 days week.

Indeed, there should be a setting to switch this on, while keeping the current approach as default. To me and my team it makes no sense to include weekends in the count, and it messes up our metrics.
Would love to have that, maybe there is a way to keep that feature for those who want to keep week-ends in their estimate
Agree, this should be a defect. Only working days should be taken into account.
This shouldn't be a type of suggestion - this should be a defect - only going on 4+ years of being reported

+1 This is both misleading and inconsistent behavior, should be fixed.
Please, do you really need people voting on it since April to fix such an obvious flaw?

added a comment - +1 - Just got back from the weekend and now the ticket is In Progress for 4 days. That seems weird, we clearly want working days to be counted.

This bug (yes, I think that's a bug and not a feature) is spoiling the visual aspect of a Kanban board where flow through the board is all you get in terms of immediate metrics and things being "stuck" can be exaggerated when you count the weekends (non-working days).

I just ran into this issue today. +1 for sure! But for me, this is a BUG, not a suggestion. I find it hard to believe, that this issue is around like 3 years. Especially the control chart is almost useless with this non-sense "calculation" approach.
+1 for sure.Currently I'm having to query the Jira API just to get an accurate number.
This is very frustrating given Burndown Chart, Sprint Report, Epic Report, Version Report, Control Chart; and the following gadgets: Sprint Health Gadget, Burndown Gadget all respect the work days setup for a board.
