[JSWSERVER-10257] A clone of an Epic Marked as Done can never be displayed on any Agile Board

Consider the following simple scenario:

1) Mark an Epic as Done
2) Clone the same Epic
It is now impossible to see the cloned Epic on any Agile Board.

How do I change the status of the cloned Epic to "To Do"?
I can't see any feature for that. And I am not keen on using a workaround which consists in unlocking the the locked "Epic Status" agile custom field.

You would need to add the Epic Status field to your edit screen to do so. This is described in the Documentation https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AGILE/JIRA+Agile+-+JIRA+Configuration
