Description
Issue Summary
When we try to create an issue from Backlog(CMP)>>Future Sprint>>Create Issue option, and if the Create Issue Screen has a required field, then the Create Issue Modal opens up but the Sprint field in this Create Issue Screen/Modal is not pre-filled with the Future Sprint, although we are creating the issue from the Backlog(CMP)>>Future Sprint>>Create Issue option.
Thus, we have observed that CMP Backlog Inline Create with required fields is not sending the pre-filled values for the custom fields including the Sprint field.
Note: Team Managed Project is not impacted by this and the above scenario works fine in TMP.
Steps to Reproduce
- Ensure that the Create Issue Screen of the Project has a few Required fields to be filled in before the creation of the ticket.
- Create a few Future Sprints in the CMP Backlog.
- Use the Create Issue option from the Future Sprint Backlog inline to create a new issue inside the Future Sprint.
- The GIC(Create Issue screen modal) will pop up but the Sprint field is not pre-filled with the respective Future Sprint although we are creating the ticket from that Future Sprint's Backlog inline.
Expected Results
- In the GIC the Sprint field should be filled with the Future Sprint/Sprint value.
Actual Results
- The GIC(Create Issue screen modal) will pop up but the Sprint field is not pre-filled with the respective Future Sprint although we are creating the ticket from that Future Sprint's Backlog inline.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. We will have to manually enter the Sprint value in the Sprint field.
