REST API for "Related work" feature on Jira versions/releases

      Summary

      As a developer, I would like to create/update/delete "related work" items on Jira versions via a REST API.

      (See attached screenshot for what is meant by "related work".)

      Workarounds

      Atlassian's GraphQL API can be used to interact with the "related work" feature (see addRelatedWorkToVersion and related fields). Caveat: these fields are marked as "beta", meaning they are not guaranteed to be stable.

            This feature will allow present Release information automatically over Roadmaps. So REST API for Related work and "Give this section a name" sections is required

            I would love to see this implemented because description does not support markdown or links (just plain text), but we want to share our gitlab/github links and release notes with our release management
