Ability to prioritise issues in the backlog view more easily

Currently when using both the SCRUM and Kanban boards in Jira the backlog is very hard to quickly prioritise when the team has a very long backlog.

The teams I work with who use the Kanban backlog often have a backlog of over 500 issues, there seems to be no way to easily move issues into the correct order. When you have a large backlog dragging issues is a very slow process. 

We would would like to have a feature that makes this process more efficient either by:

1) Allowing the user to zoom out so that when moving an issue low down on the backlog to in the middle or near the top it would be easier OR

2) Allowing the user to rank using numbers OR

3) When right clicking you can add move to top of backlog or move to bottom but maybe there could be more options here OR

This is one of the most frustrating issues currently when moving issues in the backlog.
