Issue Summary

For Automation rules, if a custom event is set to be fired through a post-function, the Issue Transitioned trigger does not work.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Add a custom event as a post-function
2. Build a rule with Issue Transitioned trigger, specifying the transition in which the post-function mentioned in "1" was added.

Expected Results

The rule should be triggered.

Actual Results

Jira doesn't send webhooks for transitions configured with post-functions in which custom events are fired, so Automation app is not notified and the rule is not triggered.

Workaround

Change the Event triggered by your workflow post-function back to Generic Event (make sure to check if this won't impact notifications or integrations).
