    Description

      Atlassian Update - 16 June 2023

      Hi everybody,

A small team at Atlassian are looking into addressing this suggestion.

We are looking to add a Move sprint to top and a Move sprint to bottom item on the sprint actions drop down menu. This feature should address the most common use cases outlined in this ticket.

Other UI changes, drag and drop and keyboard shortcuts will be out of scope.

Keep and eye out on this space.
      Thank you!
      mbeigi@atlassian.com

This feature request is for the "Backlog" page.

      Use case

It would be very beneficial to be able to do one or both of these:
      1) Move a sprint to the top, or
      2) Create a sprint directly below the running one(s).

We use sprints to group work packages (because they can be collapsed, which is useful).

Currently, when adding a sprint, it is always added on the bottom.
So we have to click "Move Sprint up" 10 times or so, which is annoying.

      Suggested UI

      1) "Move sprint to top" should be added to this menu:

      2) "Create sprint" button should also be available on top of the Backlog page.
This button should then create a sprint directly below the running one(s).
