Description
Summary
Using JQLs to build reports with gadgets is a powerful way to keep tracking information about our projects and issues, as we can have better control over what is going on!
From time to time, we may need to compare the results of the same report in different periods of time, and this might be a bit hard to do, once the reports get only the last updated information.
Suggestion
Create a way to run JQLs to get a snapshot of old information, so we can have a visible and clearer way to check how the issues were in a given past date, for example:
- We run a JQL this week to get information from issues in a determined project (like logged hours, priority, and statuses);
- Next week, we run the same report with the updated status, but the past report did not change its results, so we can compare them both and see what was changed.
