Every time I view the roadmap I have to apply the right filters to get the view I want, which is to say I do not want to see completed epics on the roadmap.  It would be great to have a default filter by status, date, or other criteria (label, etc).  This relates to https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17799, which is to have a customizable timeline.

      Update 15 February 2023

The ability to remove completed Epic issues from the Roadmap can be found in the View settings. More info in the article Change how many completed issues show on your timeline:

      1. From your roadmap, navigate to the View settings menu at the top-right of your view.
      2. To show no past issues on your roadmap, select Hide all completed epic issues.

The ability to have default or persistent filters is still not possible.
