      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Portfolio Cloud. Using JIRA Portfolio Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Problem Definition

      Currently when the issues fall out of the plan, JIRA Portfolio will not schedule and calculate the original dependency.

      Suggested Solution

      It would be great if we can support on external dependency in both outside/inside of the plan, since there are some business requirement which will required to move the issues outside of the plan.
