The priority icons are not accessible to users with visual impairments.

If you have limited color vision you are unable to tell the difference between a dark red up arrow, a medium red up arrow, and an orange up arrow.

We used to be able to fix this in server based Jira to bring us into line with disability discrimination law, but there's no option to customise this in the cloud / next-gen projects.

Suggestion:

Change the highest / lowest status icons to have a trailing dot to visually distinguish them from high / low

Change the medium status icon to have arrow heads at both ends to indicate that it's in the middle.
