Releases on Roadmaps

Request:

Visualize release dates on the roadmap, but also interactively modify release-related dates in the roadmap

Thanks again for your valued responses on this ticket - it's been greatly appreciated and the feedback gathered has been directly input into our next iteration of the roadmap. 

We have now added the ability to visualize releases on the roadmap in Jira Software Cloud for all editions. 

If you have Releases enabled in your project, the roadmap will visualize the team's upcoming releases to help your team plan and track work against those deliverables. You can also choose to not display this, by clicking "view settings" and unchecking the releases section. https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/show-or-hide-releases-on-your-project-roadmap/ 

For the initial version of this, modifying release dates from the roadmap will not be possible, but this can be done from the "Releases hub", where all Releases in the project are created and managed.

For now, I will be closing this ticket. At the moment, there is little demand to modify the releases from the roadmap, but If you have any additional feedback on this functionality and how we can improve it - when you are on the Roadmap page, you can share your thoughts by clicking the "give feedback" button.
