Unable to search for subtasks when filtered by sprint

Steps to Reproduce

1. In a next-gen/team-managed project, Create a task and subtask and make them belong to the same sprint
2. In the Jira issue search screen, perform search by the following:

   project = <project key> AND Sprint = <sprint id>
   

Expected Results

The task and the subtask shows up in the search result

Actual Results

Only the task shows up in the search result

Workaround

There are no workarounds at the moment

Note

This is affecting the following APIs as well

• /rest/api/2/search (passing "Sprint=<id>" as argument)
• /rest/agile/1.0/sprint/
