We understand that Next Gen is currently lacking in powerful filtering capabilities, especially when it comes to custom fields or the ability to save filters to be quickly and frequently viewed later.
As this ticket is a duplicate of JSWCLOUD-17274, we are closing this ticket so that we can aggregate the feedback on a single ticket.

We are maintaining a single Next-gen project for 3 different "products" each owned by different individuals in our organization. The People custom field was a really nice addition, but it's not very helpful if we can't filter the backlog using it. Currently, it appears you can only filter by "Epic", "Label" and "Type" but allowing filtering of 1 or 2 custom fields of our choice (or even only the People field) would be very much appreciated!
