Description
Hello all,
Thank you for watching, voting, and commenting on this issue.
We use this data as well as many other inputs to feed into our prioritisation process. Having multiple boards within one project is something that will be available in next-gen, although it is not something that we will be available for at least another 6 months. Enabling cross team tracking and visibility in next-gen projects will become a broad focus after we complete work around time estimation, workflows, and filtering. We want to share this with you to ensure you can plan out your use of projects within Jira Software effectively.
In the short term we recommend teams use classic projects when you need to have multiple boards in a single project. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause you.
Please continue to vote and in particular please continue to add comments on how your teams find value when working with multiple boards. This contextual information of what you are doing and why you are doing is invaluable for us in providing you with a product that will grow with your needs.
Thank you,
Eoin Ryan
Product Manager
Summary
Aleksandr would like the ability to create multiple next-gen boards in a next-gen project, just as you can with classic JSW Cloud projects.
Additionally, he'd like to have the ability to display work items from either board under a single roadmap, similarly to how programs display an aggregate schedule of included plans, in Portfolio for Jira today.
