Environment
- Jira Software Kanban project
Steps to Reproduce
- Create some custom fields
- Associate them to the screen asssociated to the issue detail view of Kanban
- Change their order in the screen settings
Expected Results
The order of the custom fields will change both in the 1) issue detail view accessible from the Issue menu and 2) the Kanban pop-up
Actual Results
The order of the custom fields change only in the 1) issue detail view accessible from the Issue menu
Workaround
Switch to the old issue view and use the old view's settings and configure the board settings
- click your Profile icon in the bottom left corner
- click Personal Settings
- scroll down to the "Jira Labs" section and switch off the New Jira issue view, if available
- This switch is available only in certain instances. If you can't see the toggle, you can't use this workaround.
- return to your board
- click ... and select board settings
- click Issue Detail View and customize the order
