      Hi Atlassian,

      As Marketplace add-ons Apps Vendor I'd like to be able to create new gadgets dashboard items and reports which operate with velocity of completed sprints. Just a couple of existing Jira Software Server examples are Velocity Chart and Agile Reports and there is no easy way to port them to Cloud.

      I think that not only Apps Vendors but regular Jira Customers will also get a huge benefit from the possibility to create small custom home-made reporting tools based on Velocity data.

      The workaround to perform own sprint velocity calculation based on sprint issues history is possible, but there is a high chance of difference between values in native Jira Software reports and custom calculation due to quick complex logic behind it.

      And lastly Jira Software without Velocity wound't be truly Agile )
