At the moment, the feature to show total number of story point for each column is only available for Scrum board (Backlog mode).
It would be great to have this feature to be implemented in Work/Active Sprint mode of Kanban Board. This will help the users to keep track of what's on their plate. The issue count is not enough, because each issues would have different story points.

This would be really helpful, having to manually add them up is very time consuming
Please implement this. I should not need to go to Report or Backlog to have this information. Even ClickUp does that better

It would be useful feature in Jira to show story points based on columns.
This should not be a feature request, it should have been stock functionality from day one.
Honestly, some days I wonder why we use Jira. If you can't add up story points and display them, where is the advantage over post-it notes on the window?

We're also struggling to find out how to show story points in columns for the sprint board. For us it's even more important and descriptive than getting a total number of tickets.
