    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

Per summary, in order to import this relationship, Epic Link has to be enabled under CSV fields mappings (Step 2). So will be more feasible if this field is visible there as well, so the users can import the parent Epic ID to this field.

Comment [ Buenos días, ¿hay alguna novedad sobre esto?

Seguí los pasos indicados anteriormente, adjunto CSV con la siguiente información:

Epic Link, Tarea, Tipo de incidencia, Versiones corregidas
3Prueba importacion, 4 Pruena asociar epic a historia, Historia, SUPERAUTO
3Prueba importacion, 5 Pruena asociar epic a historia, Historia, SUPERAUTO
Previamente había creado la epica 3Prueba importacion

            Al validar muestra la advertencia

El proceso de validación ha hallado 1 advertencia(s)

The value [ [3Prueba importacion] ] can't be added to the Custom Field [ Epic Link ]. The value [ [3Prueba importacion] ] can't be found or is in the incorrect format

Probé colocando la url de la epic pero no funcionó

            Podrán ayudarme? ]

Thanks matt.doar, for pointing me to this issue.

Yes, this scenario is 100% supported on JIM side. In my opinion this issue can be Closed.

I think you can import Epics from CSV and provide values for Epic Name. Then in Stories later in the CSV use an Epic Link column with the name of the Epic that the Story should be part of. This was in one of the more recent releases of the CSV importer as I recall?
