Cannot swap issues to unreleased version when releasing a version from Planning Board

I tried to release Version Alpha from the Planning Board. There were two resolved issues and three unresolved issues. A dialog popped up to ask if I wanted to swap the unresolved issues to another version. I selected another version - Version Beta - and an error appeared "Failed to swap issues".
