Wrong Assignee When Creating A New Card

Steps to replicate the problem:

Default Assignee to Project Lead

• Create a project with the default assignee as Project Lead
• Create a new card and type other username (not the Project Lead) for the assignee
• The assignee will be assigned to the Project Lead instead of the username which has been filled up in the Assignee field.

Default Assignee to Unassigned

• Create a project with the default assignee as Unassigned
• Create a new card and type other username for the assignee
• The assignee will be set to Unassigned instead of the username which has been filled up in the Assignee field.

Default Assignee to the Component Lead for the Specific Component

• Create a component in the project and set the default assignee as Component Lead for that component.
• Create a new card and type other username (not the Component Lead) for the assignee
• Choose the specific component that you had created for the project.
• The assignee will be set to the Component Lead instead of the username which has been filled up in the Assignee field.
