Description
Internet Explorer 8 shows performance issues with Greenhopper 5.0 and above. Upon clicking "New Card" the performance decreases dramatically, mostly noticeable by keyboard input lag. Other tested browsers such as Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari do not show this behavior.
Workaround:
If you turn on Compatibility Mode it will switch browser engine to a modified version of Internet Explorer 6 and will run faster, but still with some keyboard input lag. However, turning on Compatibility Mode will also invoke all of Internet Explorer 6's caveats. It could be that parts of your JIRA instance will not perform as requested due to the dropped Internet Explorer 6 support.
