Since I got any activity I suppose it's better to ask the same here.

The Apache OFBiz® project (JIRA uses its Entity Engine underneath) publishes a monthly blog post. For that we manually format our Subversion trunk commits log for the concerned month. Would it not be possible to have a date filter in our trunk "Configure release notes"?

Of course I don't mean a specific feature for the OFBiz project nor even the ASF JIRA instance, but a feature available for everybody in the next JIRA release
