Using multi-select custom field on Agile Gadget in JIRA Dashboard displays as HTML

Summary

When an Agile board includes a custom field that makes use of multi-select or Date/Time picker, and is then used in an Agile Dashboard Gadget, the field is displayed as HTML. When viewing the same board via Agile, the field appears as expected.

Environment

• JIRA 6.5* (replicated on a Cloud instance)
• JIRA Agile - 6.7.2

Steps to Reproduce

1. JIRA > System > Admin > Issues > Custom Fields, Create Custom Field
2. Select a Field Type > Select List (multiple choices)
3. Add a title, and multiple options. Create.
4. Assign to a screen. I chose the Default Screen on a test instance to make it easier.
5. Create a test issue in a project that uses the screen you selected above.
6. Go to Agile > Manage Boards > Create Board. Create a Kanban Board from the existing project. You may need to move your issue over to a column where you can see it.
7. While on the board, click Board > Configure > Card Layout. Add your field, and go back to the board.
8. Verify the custom field displays its results as expected.
9. Nagivate to your Dashboard, and click Add Gadget. Add the Agile Wallboard Gadget, and select your new board.
10. You will discover the custom field from the dashboard displays as HTML instead.

Notes

It's possible for other custom field types the same issue could occur.
