Description
Issue Summary
When a Connect addon that uses the ACT_AS_USER scope is included on a Confluence page and accessed through the JSD Knowledge Base, the contents of the addon fail to render.
Steps to Reproduce
- Link a Confluence space to a JSD Cloud instance to be used as a Knowledge Base
- Add a connect addon that uses the ACT_AS_USER scope e.g. MultiExcerpt macro, on a Confluence page in the Confluence space used in step 1
- Login-in with a customer user from the JSD portal (without an Atlassian account on the instance)
- Access the page created in step 2 through the portal
Expected Results
The page should show the contents of the connect addon for customers logged into the portal.
e.g. with the MultiExcerpt macro we see the following:
Actual Results
Pages containing these connect addons show an error for customers logged into the portal. Customers are unable to view the contents of the macro.
e.g. with the MultiExcerpt macro we see the following:
Workaround
If the JSD Portal allows for anonymous access, users can access the Knowledge Base articles as expected in an incognito tab.
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
