      Issue Summary

Currently, JSM Assist only allows private channels to be set as agent channels.

When trying to invite bot to a public channel, a warning is shown:

We suggest using a private channel for your agents to limit membership and ensure only the right people can access issues and requests.

      Steps to Reproduce

Try to invite Jira Assist bot to a public slack channel and set this as agent channel.

      Expected Results

Admins should have the possibility to choose if they want agent channel to be a private or a public one.

      Actual Results

Some companies does not allow private channels to be created due to security concerns, and Assist requirement for agent channels to be private block the usage of the feature.

      Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
