Users unable to view request in Atlassian Assist/JSM Chat Slack shared channels that have email restrictions

      Issue Summary

      When having a Slack shared channel connected to Slack that does not allow reading emails between workspaces in this channel, the Atlassian Assist is not able to get the email properly and raises it as Atlassian Assist. If the users try to click "View request" in the ticket created in this channel they receive the error:

      Something went wrong.
      Uh oh, something went wrong.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Have a Slack shared channel with email restrictions
      2. Raise a request with Atlassian Assist in the channel
      3. Click the "View request" button

      Expected Results

      You are able to view the request, or receive an information of why it isn't possible.

      Actual Results

      Users receive:

      Something went wrong.
      Uh oh, something went wrong.

      Workaround

      Remove email restrictions from Shared channels, it may be required to contact Slack support team for assistance.
