Resolution: Unresolved
Hi team,
Please consider having the option to use the automation rule actor as the user with permission to create MS Teams chat or meetings when using the Create Microsoft Teams chat or meeting for incident automation component.
Currently, the person creating the rule gives the permission, and we'll use their Microsoft user token to create meetings every time. Irrespective of the rule actors, when the rule is executed a Microsoft Teams meeting will be created on behalf of the person who gave their permission.
Thanks for your help.
Having the ability to use the "User who triggered the event" actor in any MS Teams automation would be extremely beneficial to our organization's incident management process. If we could just have the option to use this actor and have the automation fail if the user didn't have permissions, that would be fine as well.
