Issue Summary
Slack workspace where connects to Assist app. In the request channel, if user @ mention the other user and create ticket from that post, Assist auto-reply the ticket information with that message. It includes "@"mention part.
If there are the user who has username duplicates other user's display name, Assist reply includes wrong user's mention.
There are 2 users like below.
example:
User A:
- Slack Display name: portal
- Slack username: XXXXX.portal
User B:
- Slack Display name: portal20241119
- Slack username: portal
User B's username:
Slack Display name: user name used for @ mention
Slack username: user name used internally (Configured in https://<workspace>.slack.com/account/settings#username)
Steps to Reproduce
- Connect Slack workspace to JSM site
- There are the user who has username duplicates other user's display name
- In the request channel, @ mention User A and create ticket with Assist
- Assist auto-reply with @ mention to User B
Expected Results
Assist mention the correct user
Actual Results
Assist mention the incorrect user
Workaround
Change either User A's display name or User B's username to avoid duplicates.
This issue is fixed now
