At the moment you have na option to disable the notifications to the requesters under the chat settings.
That means that when an user creates a ticket via request channel, they will not be mentioned.
However, if an user creates a ticket via portal, using a request type connected in any Agent Channel, the bot will still mention the user.
It would be nice to have an option to disable those notifications as well.
