Description
Issue Summary
We have recently rolled out a feature that will render the KB articles from the customer portal in a improved and cleaner way. Though, it seems that there are some issues when the articles have anchors.
Steps to Reproduce
- Upon connecting your JSM project to a Confluence space, go to Confluence and create a new page using the current editor;
- Add some Lorem Ipsum text to the page, so it can be long enough to be scrolled;
- At the bottom of the page, add an Anchor macro;
- Highlight a piece of text in the first line of your text, in the top of the page, then hit CTRL + K / Command + K to insert a hyperlink;
- In the link, insert #AnchorName;
- Publish the page;
- Navigate to this article in your customer portal and click over the anchor link you created.
Expected Results
You are placed where you added the anchor, in the bottom of the page.
Actual Results
There are two outcomes we can get:
- After 3-5 seconds we are redirected to the anchor;
- Nothing happens at all (this one occurs more often when you have more than one anchor link)
Workaround
Engage with the support team raising a new support ticket and ask them to disable this feature for now, so the anchor links will work properly.
