Description
Summary
On a JSM project that doesn't have a Confluence space linked as a KB, clicking on "Get started" will redirect the user to Confluence instead of opening the linking settings.
Steps to Reproduce
- Access a JSM Project that doesn't have a Space linked to it.
- Click on the "Get started" button
Expected Results
You'll be prompted to select what's the Space you want to link as a Knowledge base.
Actual Results
You're redirected to Confluence
Workaround
It is still possible to link spaces via API. For that you'll need:
- Your JSM Project key
- The Confluence space Key
- Confluence's Application Link ID
- Access this URL and get the Confluence's applink id. It should look like a hash "8ec3157f-2167-3b85-88c6-bb1acdcd93a4".
<site>.atlassian.net/rest/applinks/1.0/listApplicationlinks
- Run the following API call to link both the project and the Confluence Space:
curl -u 'user:token' \ -H 'content-type: application/json' \ -d '["<SpaceKey>"]' \ 'https://<site>.atlassian.net/rest/servicedesk/1/servicedesk/<ProjectKey>/kb/<confluence-applink-id>/space'
