Problem

When placing a comment that contains an exclamation mark surrounding a sentence even on multiline, The editor considers what's in between as a reference to an attachment.

Selecting the value and marking it as preformatted style doesn't change the outcome  

The editor should consider "!!" as a comment in text mode only when the user intentionally marks it

Jira DataCenter

Steps to Reproduce

• Open a ticket and place the cursor to add a comment in graphical editing 
• add the value bellow 

  !? Test! 

   

• Save the comment

Expected Results

• Jira will add a comment as written by the user containing all the characters

Actual Results

• Jira processes the value "? Test" as a reference to an attachment as described here 
• Jira replaces the comment value with the text 

  Unable to render embedded object: File (? Test) not found. 

Workaround

Put a whitespace after the exclamation mark, e.g. ! ? Test!
