Customers are looking for feature to disable assignee field being set to Automatic n create-issue form or configuartion option to set it as Unassigned based on requirement.

There were previously raised feature requests which were declined as won't fix. Since this pattern is causing issues with setting groovy scripts. It is considering “Automatic” as a value and not behaving like “Unassigned”. So this is worth addressing as many users are impacted.
