      Issue Summary

      Jira session timeouts can be modified according to Change the default session timeout to avoid user logout in Jira server. However, this configuration is not respected while accessing dashboards configured with gadgets.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Modify the session timeout
      2. Test the new session timeout on a dashboard with gadgets

      Expected Results

      The configured session timeout will be respected.

      Actual Results

      The session timeout is not respected and the session cookie will continue to refresh. The behavior is not currently outlined in Jira Application Cookies.

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
