• We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

To support requirements development authoring in Confluence and requirements tracking in Jira, please add the ability for a Jira ticket to watch a linked Confluence page.

Currently, a user may watch a Confluence page and receive notifications showing the delta between 2 versions of the page.  Request is for that same notification to be sent to the linked Jira record and added as a comment.  This provides users who are tracking a Jira requirements record the ability to quickly see what has changed in the linked Confluence page from within the Jira ticket itself.

This functionality provides a complete requirements management solution for Atlassian:

      • Early authoring / designing of requirements in Confluence with review workflow
      • Transition to Jira for requirements tracking / implementation
      • Record of changes made to the linked Confluence page that can be seen in the Jira record's comments
