To support requirements development authoring in Confluence and requirements tracking in Jira, please add the ability for a Jira ticket to watch a linked Confluence page.
Currently, a user may watch a Confluence page and receive notifications showing the delta between 2 versions of the page. Request is for that same notification to be sent to the linked Jira record and added as a comment. This provides users who are tracking a Jira requirements record the ability to quickly see what has changed in the linked Confluence page from within the Jira ticket itself.
This functionality provides a complete requirements management solution for Atlassian:
- Early authoring / designing of requirements in Confluence with review workflow
- Transition to Jira for requirements tracking / implementation
- Record of changes made to the linked Confluence page that can be seen in the Jira record's comments
