Problem Definition
Incorrecty links in the Database expand macro for MS SQL server in the instalation documentation for all versions:
In the table under the section "Is your database set up and ready to use?" under the tell me more drop down, The Documentation has the following two incorrect links on the AND and SQL Server text:
Set up your database before you begin. Step-by-step guides are available for PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL 5.6, MySQL 5.7, and SQL Server.
The "and" is linked to the Confluence MySQL Database set documentation:

The SQL Server is linked to the SQL Server 2012 documentation (Noting 2012 is deprecated in 8.8 and later)
NOTE:
We have already corrected the "and" link and the MS SQL Server link in the Jira 8.8 document version updating the SQL server version to MSSQL 2016 documentation
AND We have updated the "and" link in the 8.7 documentation BUT the corrections still need to be made to the 8.6 and earlier docs
Suggested Solution
At a minimum every doc version needs to be reviewed and have the incorrect "AND" link to the confluence database setup documentation removed as well as the rest of the compatible DB version links checked and compared to the supported platforms documentation to verify the correct DB versions are listed
Overall adding in a individualized database version link for each database type, in each documentation version will become unmanageable as database versions become EOL and deprecated noting the incorrect link to the 2012 version previously listed in the 8.8 doc version that we have since corrected edits viewable in Page history
I recomend updating this to a single Link to the Connecting Jira applications to a database documentation page that has the detailed steps for each supported database type on the noted application version
